I stood at a fork in the road. White petals blew in the wind. One road led through a canopy of trees offering shade from the heat of the sun. But the other was adorned with petals and led on through a silky light.

The trunk of the tree stood wide and strong and firmly settled from years of growth. Its petals, as delicate as dew, lay strewn as if for a bride to walk down the aisle.

One lone figure stood in the distance, the form but a sliver. I moved forward into the patches of light, no longer invisible, Petals brushed against my cheek, leaving a subtle fragrance, light and sweet as His voice spoke into my heart like a prayer.
